Trust me...

Bella Bella doesn't have camping.

'No problem. Trust me. I have topographic maps of the whole island. There's this forestry road... seems to go to some awesome spots.'

Except. After driving for a bit, it doesn't look like a road anymore.

Plan B: Take the water taxi to the next island over.

There is no plan C.

Now what?

Ok. So we're in Bella Bella. No camping here. Now what?

Hygiene

Regular bathing is key to not feeling excessively grotty. It's easier for some than others. Our '"box for soft and squishy stuff" also doubles as baby bath.

I'm still on the lookout for a bathtub that's warm enough and big enough for me. We've found some lakes that are warm enough for a swim, but not on day that's warm enough for swimming.

Bad mozzies

Prince Rabbity in his mosquito-less haven. The island had us fooled that BC was a mosquito-less paradise. Alas, mosquitoes flourish here too...
