Road trip - 0km

The road trip has started. Well.... I guess that's debatable. We're sleeping in a backyard, and the car was so full I had to take the bus here with the kids. BUT, we've technically left the city of Victoria, and we are sleeping in our tent tonight, so I count it as having started.

We've got way too much stuff, we'll have to whittle it down tomorrow, before starting on our next leg.

Tetris much?

Time is running out. Just over 48 hours before our primary residence becomes a tent we have yet to sleep in.

I think our container is big enough, just not comfortably so. A trend that I expect will continue throughout our trip.

Last reported position (do people even blog anymore?)

Last time round, we had one child. We had time to blog and keep a journal of our thoughts. Adina even had time to work on a paper and get published!

This time around, things are different. Two children, and blogging is even more obsolete than it was in 2017; but we still want one. Instagram has taken over, we just don't think it's a replacement for a good old fashioned, all in one place, weblog. So - we're blogging like it's 1999 people!

One of our workarounds for having less time writing - at the press of a button, a blog entry with our position on a map is automatically generated. So when we're very busy - this is all there will be:

Panic

Uh oh. Two weeks before our lease runs out. Four month old baby. Three year old pre-schooler. Four months ahead of us, living in a three person tent.

What were we thinking?!
